Detailed Bio

Moritz Anuschek is a postdoctoral researcher at Novo Nordisk in Denmark, specializing in Process Analytical Technology (PAT) for pharmaceutical tablet manufacturing. He completed his PhD at the University of Copenhagen, where he focused on using terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) as a non-destructive, real-time tool to monitor tablet properties such as porosity and size. His research improved methods for accurately measuring tablet quality and supporting continuous production processes.

Funded by Novo Nordisk, Moritz developed innovative ways to analyze THz-TDS data, enabling faster and more reliable quality control, which reduces the need for destructive testing methods. His work helps pharmaceutical manufacturers optimize tablet strength, dissolution, and consistency during production.

At Novo Nordisk, he applies THz-TDS analytics for process monitoring, quality assurance, and digital integration in drug manufacturing. Moritz actively shares his knowledge through scientific publications and conference presentations, contributing to the advancement of smart, efficient pharmaceutical production.

He holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and has research experience at institutions including Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich and the University of Cambridge.
