Detailed Bio
Dr. Holger Lutz is the Head of Process Analytical Technology (Bereichsleiter Prozessanalysentechnologie) at Bruker Optics GmbH & Co. KG in Ettlingen, Germany. Since 2002, he has held worldwide responsibility for all process analysis projects at Bruker Optics, coordinating product development and driving innovation in spectroscopic solutions for industrial applications.
Dr. Lutz leads key initiatives in the development and deployment of advanced analytical instruments,such as the BEAM single-point FT-NIR spectrometer, which he described as a milestone for real-time solid sample analysis in industries including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, polymers, food, and feed.
He holds a chemistry degree from Universität Karlsruhe, where he focused on analytical and physical chemistry, and has research experience in instrumental analytics and thin-film preparation from the Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe. Dr. Lutz is recognized for his global leadership in process analytics, facilitating the integration of cutting-edge spectroscopy into industrial process environments and supporting Bruker’s reputation for technological excellence
