Carolina Gastone is the CEO of Eigengran S.r.l. in Italy, an innovative start-up specializing in advanced control systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing.

With a focus on digital transformation and cognitive control, she leads the development of AI-driven technologies and smart process solutions to optimize granulation and particle technology, specifically in oral solid dosage (OSD) drug manufacturing.

Under her leadership, Eigengran has pioneered the integration of artificial intelligence (including deep reinforcement learning), IIoT sensors, and predictive control systems to create Cognitive Pharma Machinery.
